It seems that it's coming back in style, the Maxis RE-Make/Maxis Match stories and leagacies. I've been reading a good one called Fortune and Romance (can be found on Garden of Shadows or a link on my Sounds of Hell for those curious). I know there's more TS2 remakes then TS3s right now. But there's been a lot of talk on other forums about TS3 "catching UP." I personally am interested in Maxis RE-Makes and have decided behind the scenes in my personal game rather than public play a little RE-Make. Not Maxis Match though because I hate Maxis colors and textures. So my question is, how do you all feel about Maxis RE-Makes? pancakes or french toast?

I've haven't heard of these stories? What's the gist of them? Do people choose a pre-made EA family and start a story about them?
I sometimes look forward to seeing what new pre-made sims or families EA create when a new EP or hood comes out. For my stories I prefer to create my own sims from scratch but I have used EA sims before. Thornton Wolff and Connor Frio. Thornton didn't last long as he just didn't seem to gel with my story but Connor is a good example. I changed his traits but haven't strayed too far from what the original EA Connor looks like. There was just something about him that I couldn't pass up and now he is one of my major characters.

I used to love reading about maxis characters in the sims 2. I was aditced to strangetown here we come, but I got a little with it after a while, and I used to read a prosperity challenge in Pleasentview unravelling the Bella disappearence. But that one sort of stopped. I always liked seeing what people did with them.
