I am going to be uninstalling my Sims3 soon after I put all my Simmies UP for download.
So I just wanted to know how everyone's games are running. Is anyone having issues still?

I think the main Sim issue lots of us have (I know Rad, and jcnorn do) is that large lots-especially those with a large family history are more prone to crashing and error 12'ing. Makes the later gens of a Legacy difficult even after moving hood. The best way to go is putting a cap on the neighbourhood size using a mod, downgrade to a smaller house even if it does bend the rules, and save regulary. I have to save the Pink's atleast every 5 sim hours, although if a lot happens in a sim hour it can still error 12 on you.
But then Legacy houses always became glitchy a few generations in anyway in Sims 2, purely due to the large back family history created, which is worse in sims 3 ofcourse when you have the backstory of the whole hood behind you.
And of course the traditional new ep glitches, but when was a new sims2 ep ever easy either.

The only EPs I've ever had trouble with in Sims2 were Pets and Seasons...I never got any EPs with Sims3 as my computer can hardly handle base game... I haven't kept UP with the Sims3 world except in some of the stories out there. So I was just curious. A writer on Simcave decided to retreat back to TS2 like I did after he/she started the story in TS3...at least he/she didn't have 22 chapters before they made the switch. Ugh. I didn't know there was glitches with having the large family background in TS2 (I knew for TS3)...but I've never successfully had a legacy go more than generation 2.

I only go back to sims 2 if my bro is home from uni hogging the computer, and I get bored and Sims 2 will work on the laptop just about.
