My plan is to do some lot makeovers like jodeliejodelie and echinopeae have done so I guess to start off this thread I'll post Sim State University.
The neighborhood has been fully decorated and Pinenut Plaza is also finished on a side note that is the dorm I intend on moving the Freshman household into along with Khalif. So here are the pictures so far (I did move a few things around earlier today).
I forgot to take a picture before so here is one from Google:
And here is the new and improved Sim State University:
First a lot of the decorations were inspired by amonsimmies and jodeliejodelie. I picked out this terrain as the new one because when you first load up this university there is that steep hill and then on the outskirts are these trees that don't match the university at all. So picked something that was flat, functional, and sort of reminded me of my university in real life. I wish I could have fit the highway in but there wasn't a good place for it so a train and bus station for students to get home will have to do.
I'll probably load my game up tomorrow and try to finish another one of the Peanut Streets but I managed to get two done.
10 Peanut Street before (from sims wiki):
10 Peanut Street after:
25 Peanut Street before (from sims wiki):
25 Peanut Street after (excuse the really bad angle):
Yes I did take jodeliejodelie's idea of coloring that front part. Hopefully I can finish the rest of the Peanut Streets and then I'l tackle 452 - 498 University Way and the Campus Coffee house which I'll convert into a Starbucks.
For 10 Peanut Street here are some interior shots, I really need to take better pictures next time
I should probably change that BV canvas poster to something that mathces the color scheme...
I'm not too crazy about the blanket color or color of the room now that I look at it, so I'll switch it out when I get back into my game.
I can't remember where I found the bed but I definietly like this bedroom more than the other one.
I actually found a better spot for the laundry unit so I'll move it upstairs next to the yellow/pink/blue bedroom.
Quick picture from a few weeks ago; I downloaded Shanice from ms5starchic23 and edited her appearance in bodyshop, all I need to do is pick out a hairstyle in CAS:
I'm thinking of moving her to either Sim State University or Académie Le Tour. It'll probably be Académie Le Tour so she can hook up with Romeo and then work for Patrizio as a waitress/bartender when she graduates. However, I need to finish the Sim State makeovers first.
I looked to jodeliejodelie for inspiration for this one but I didn't want to go with the spooky lot feel, so I settled for something simple.
120 Crumplebottom Drive before
120 Crumplebottom Drive after
It is amazing how I managed to get this done despite the fact my game crashed twice AND just now crashed as I was getting ready to do The Urele-Oresha-Cham House. I have no idea what is going on with my game I managed to get my hacks sorted out but I'm starting to think it is a laptop issue.

I already had the pictures but just didn't post them when I did the exterior but here are the interior pictures of 120 Crumplebottom Drive:
Good news is a whole side of residential lots in Sim State is finished so all there is left are the Almond Roads, Chestnut Park, the Tri-Var House, dorms and so on. I did remove a few lots because I want to get Sim State done and jump right into the Pleasantview makeovers, then Strangetown, Veronaville, Downtown, and so on. Urele-Oresha-Cham House is done too I just need to take pictures.
Exterior and interior pictures of 80 Crumplebottom Drive. I looked to jodeliejodelie for inspiration but went with something different, I actually like the stone and tan that Maxis already put on the house.
😔 I really need that TV table in pirate/yeti and iCad woods.
Those pillows and blankets tho ♥ If anyone is interested they are here, here and here. Seriously hoping carriests2designsworld does more sets.
After doing this fake pond, all of the Almond Road lots will have one.
