Most of the contests are decided by a forum poll. The monthly contest will have judges. It's a good idea to consult the "Before You Post" posts before entering each contest.  |

sure! I will actually enter this time instead of saying "my post is coming" and then not entering... sorry, it was from lack of knowledge of how to actually post a picture. Sad I know |

I skim the 'before you post' posts but by the end of the day I have selective blindness having been concentrating so hard on texts and entering data right at work.

Pink: That's all right. We all do it. I missed the big HUGE one about TSR at SimsCave once and it was in bold red writing.  simslia: I thought of you and posted a tutorial on Photobucket for posting pictures. It's in the Photo-Editing category.

You have to use some type of image host like Photobucket, TinyPic, or ImageShack...etc.

@mdp: THANKS!!!  Seriously, its very very very helpful! I'm going to be entering some contests in September. Life = falling apart. But its kind of the most beautiful thing thats ever happened to me, I can see all this new growth coming from where the death of the life I thought I was going to have is. |

I thought that tutorial was very helpful as well MDP. Especially the part about resizing your shots. I was wondering though do many people use Photobucket to upload shots to their blogs? I normally just upload direct to Blogger and lately it hasn't let me upload new banners to my blogs. Says that I've used the maximum amount of space allowed, but I can still upload shots to my blogs, like for posts. Go figure. Just thought it was strange that's all. |

Thank you. I'm glad my tutorial has been helpful. A lot of sites do not have bandwidth so many people do use Photobucket. I believe a lot of people on LiveJournal do, but it is interesting about your Blogger problem. I don't have Blogger so hopefully others who use that site can help you out. |
